Grandma had a great sense of humor and fun. When very little I remember being in the back seat of her car and going down the street. All of the sudden the horn in the car started and wouldn't stop. It was loud and instead of panicking Grandma simply started waving to people on the street as if she knew them all.

She always had a roll of Life Saver candy in her purse for us when she visited. It was a tradition to get one of those favorite candies made extra special because it came from Grandma.
